ABOUT JOHN MCFETRIDGE
My passion is to help individuals, families and businesses by taking a bespoke solutions-based approach while collaborating with specialist service providers including but not limited to legal advisers, accounting firms and investment advisers/managers. A proven leader, director, trustee, fiduciary and governance champion with over 30 years’ experience, my aim is to keep things as simple as possible (even the most complex scenario). My goal is to engage all stakeholders actively, independently and professionally for the very best solution. Having worked in and with senior leadership, executive and managing director roles in the trustee industry, I bring a wealth of experience that cuts across all aspects of life, both personally and professionally. I have a particular interest in governance with a number of enjoyable directorships and helping people build and manage their asset and wealth structures with great governance, in particular: • Independent strategy and governance advice • Trusted advisor and trustee • Private wealth governance • Family Office • Charitable Governance The philanthropic sector is also an area of great interest. I am proud to be a trustee on the Joyce Fisher Charitable Trust where our mission is to make New Zealand a better place by providing young New Zealanders with opportunities that enhance their leadership skills and values, creating community role models and future leaders.
