Employed to carry out the following:• Planned and un-planned maintenance on all machinery and hotel services, including propulsion MTU M94 16V Main Engines, Rolls Royce 571 Gas Turbines, 2 Northern Lights Diesel Generators, MARPOL compliant Facet Oily Water Separator, HVAC, Jets Vacuum Toilet System with Hamann Sewage Treatment Plant, Hamann Water Maker, Symap Switchboard, Hydraulic, LP air, Chilled Water, Saltwater and Freshwater, systems.• Conduct emergent defect analysis and rectification, across the spectrum of propulsion, electrical, IT/AV, auxiliary and domestic engineering equipment and systems, reporting directly to the Chief Engineer.• Harbour and Sea Acceptance Trials in preparation for acceptance and delivery to the Owner, post major refit period.• Condition Monitoring and trend analysis of main and auxiliary machinery systems.• Watch keeping duties alongside and at sea.• Act as Owners Representative when required.

An experienced Y3 Yacht Engineer, an electrical and mechanical diagnostician and plant operator, with over thirty seven years experience as a marine engineer, who has maintained, operated and controlled a wide range of equipment and systems to the high standards required of the Super Yacht Industry, whilst managing computer based maintenance management schedules and administration. A problem solver with a “can do attitude”, who uses initiative to achieve results in demanding and stressful conditions. Focused and conscientious with accomplished organisational and personnel management skills, has worked as part of a team and independently, displaying initiative and tenacity to achieve goals and deadlines.
