ABOUT JOHN MCCLYMONT
I am a Director and Head of Client Intelligence & Financial Modelling at Colliers International. I have experience preparing and reviewing financial models and detailed analysis for acquisitions, disposals, valuations and developments for a variety of real estate sectors. I am very precise in my work with excellent attention to detail.My experience has been gained working both client side and in investment advisory. I have the ability to produce reports including Investment Appraisals, Business Plans and Board Reports as well as responding to business requests on a regular and ad-hoc basis. I am responsible for financial modelling and analysis for clients both internal and external. I also help to drive client retention and growth by enhancing our data, analytics and commercial insights to inform strategic decision making and anticipating clients’ needs. I lead the Data, Technology and AI group with the aim to identify opportunities to enhance the services we provide within the department and the wider Colliers business for our clients. We explore practical methods and strategic approaches in order to achieve these opportunities. I regularly use data visualisation tools such as Power BI to prepare detailed dashboards enabling clients to review their portfolios and make informed decisions. I am also able to produce performance measurement and attribution analysis for both individual assets and portfolios.
