   I am responsible for a case load of over 100 files focusing on defending Progressive Insurance clients in personal injury and property damage actions throughout the New York City and Long Island area. I am accountable for case progression from inception through all phases of discovery up to and including trial, arbitration and mediation. I work closely with claims representatives to develop strategy on a case-by-case basis so that we may protect and defend our clients, all while updating claims and the client on the status of the case through both formal and informal correspondence. My responsibilities include handling all court mandated conferences on behalf of insurance carriers and their policy holders, conducting depositions, conducting trials, and drafting extensive legal documents including motions, pleadings, discovery notices and responses, while simultaneously conducting legal research regarding State and Federal issues as needed to enhance our position. I am responsible for settlement negotiations with opposing counsel while working within the agreed upon parameters set forth by our clients.
