I am a fire protection engineer and fire service leader with a career focused on protecting people, property, and critical infrastructure through practical, code-driven, and experience-based solutions.My professional foundation spans fire protection engineering, forensic engineering, and fire safety consulting. I specialize in evaluating complex risk, conducting fire origin and cause investigations, and translating codes and standards into effective real-world application for high-consequence environments. I bring an engineer’s mindset to every engagement — analytical, detail-oriented, and outcome-focused.While I currently serve as a Senior Director at Jensen Hughes supporting regional practice growth, my passion lies in advancing technically sound fire protection strategies, forensic analysis, and mentorship that elevates both practice and people.In parallel, I serve as a volunteer firefighter and Assistant Chief with the Glen Ellyn Fire Department, also acting as a Public Information Officer and Fire Investigator. This dual perspective as engineer and responder provides a unique, real-world lens on fire dynamics, emergency operations, and post-incident evaluation.Outside the professional arena, I am an avid distance runner and youth sports coach, carrying the same discipline and leadership into every aspect of life.
