About John Malone

I was educated as an economist and journalist. I was the youngest editor of the campus paper in the history of the University of Nebraska. Does that make me \"Johnny Newspaper?\" I was also (years later) President of the Student Body, thereby serving ex-officio by state law as a University Regent. Since 1975, I have lived with a good conscience, having my sins forgiven through faith in the shed blood of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I received the gift of eternal life at that time, just as you would, if you received Him. As a young whizkid, I earned my first stripe at the UP Railroad by writing enduring programming tools, including a complete database package, operated by message passing, and a front-end interactive screen handler for DEC RSTS/E systems. In 19••••89, I developed financial modeling software for the insurance industry which was sold to Amoco Corporation. In 1993, I began Diamond Systems, Ltd Kenya. We began a private/public JV with the prestigious Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). It became the largest IT baccalaureate training program on the African Continent, educating over graduates in the space of 6 years. The joint venture operated on a cash basis, and was very profitable. As of 2020, more than graduates have received post-secondary honors through thi program which was 50% stolen. It was expropriated, then destroyed by a corrupt Kenyan government in 2003. Our graduates virtually run the IT of Kenya, especially in training and education Our influence is significant in Tanzania and Uganda. We permanently transformed the way post-secondary education is delivered in Kenya. In 2002, I began to design and develop our flagship product, GrainWorx. Grainworx (GW) is a full-services, trader-centric, freight-focused commodity trading, accounting, and elevator warehousing application. It has a sister product ScaleWorx which provides a real-time elevator interface. In 2012 we have successfully launched GW as a SAAS. It can yet be a network desktop implementation. I have 43 grandchildren, ages 0-27, all through my late wife Karen, and five great grandchildren. Specialties:= Conceptualization & System Design - Economical Agile Software Development.
