I love engineering, all aspects of it. I love the small details at the microstructure level that give materials their characteristics, and I love the big picture program level requirements that guide projects to completion. Through my career I’ve had the opportunity to work on problems at the large scale, and at the small scale. Problems that involved deep technical understanding, and problems that require leadership and program management. I’ve worked in research, design, manufacturing, failure analysis, and as an educator. I’ve conquered every challenge I’ve faced; my secret is that I love what I do.
