I am a portfolio member of Arch.law, a distributed law firm. Arch.law is a modern digital law firm which offers dynamic solutions to its clients\' problems.I work on behalf of Defendants to defend claims for occupational disease. That includes so called \'long tail\' disease (eg asbestos, cancer, vibration and noise) and also \'short tail\' diseases - typically resulting from shorter periods of exposure (eg work related upper limb disorders, asthma, RSI, dermatitis.) I also specialize in stress at work claims. Disease claims are particularly interesting because they present particular challenges but also avail a Defendant of standalone defences of causation, breach and Limitation.I have a 100% track record of success at trial in industrial disease claims, and a repudiation rate of over 75%.Our clients are insurance companies and also corporate clients.I have a particular interest in Emerging Risks in the field of Industrial Disease such as those arising from the Fourth Industrial Revolution - Nanotechnology, 3d Printing. I have delivered seminars, lectures and written papers on this subject and others within the field of Industrial Disease.I am a governor at a local school. In my spare time I enjoy tennis and walking.
