Initiated participant outreach, communication, and operational planning for the Paddle to Elwha Canoe Journey. A multi-million-dollar event hosted by the ʔéʔɬx̣ʷaʔ nəxʷsƛ̕áy̕əm̕ (Klallam at Elwha) attracting attendees from tribes along the Pacific Northwest, Canada, and Alaska- Great-Grandson of Edward (Klallam Elwha) and Hazel Sampson (Jamestown S’Klallam)- Aligned with Executive Director to insure seamless communication and strategic consistency- Collaborated internally with 11 cross-functional teams and 40+ employees to delegate tasks and spread awareness of the event. Teams included the education department, enrollment, the Heritage Center etc- Coordinated community outreach with local businesses, Field Hall, Port Angeles & Sequim community members, and tribal communities from Jamestown S’Klallam, Quileute, Makah, Port Gamble S’Klallam, and Lower Elwha- Formulated marketing strategy and plan, identifying 3 target audiences with growth targets defined- Identified innovative and proactive systems to implement for low friction experiences during Journey- Managed grant funds to support outreach, planning, and operational expenses
