Glasgow, GB

Site and Facilities Manager (Engineering) at TÜV SÜD, delivering high-quality engineering management and compliance-focused technical services to support complex testing operations and building infrastructure. I lead maintenance strategy, capital projects, and day-to-day site operations to ensure safety, compliance, and continuity across critical environments.Key responsibilities include managing all reactive and planned preventative maintenance activities, resolving technical issues across building systems, and ensuring contractor performance aligns with contractual obligations and KPIs. I lead both minor works and major infrastructure upgrades, including full end-to-end project management for new control lab installations and building improvements.I am currently managing a multi-million-pound High Voltage (HV) to Low Voltage (LV) site conversion across two UK locations, ensuring compliance, operational resilience, and minimal disruption during implementation.I oversee works in full compliance with CDM regulations and building legislation, while also conducting facilities risk assessments (e.g. Legionella, PUWER, Fire Safety, Operational Security) and delivering corrective actions. I review contractor Risk and Method Statements (RAMS), issue permits to work, and enforce robust health and safety standards across all activities.Working closely with the UK Facilities Manager, I contribute to long-term maintenance planning, FM budgeting, and forward strategy. I also provide engineering support and compliance guidance to site engineers and operational teams, helping deliver projects safely and efficiently while aligning with regulatory requirements and business goals.
