As Senior Trader at Blackrock, London, John has had a wide-ranging experience and proficiency in multiple financial products. John is currently responsible for Trading pan European Equities, Equity Futures, Options, Swaps and Exchange Traded Products across multiple asset classes as well as US Equities in the past. John also works proactively with many areas within Blackrock, to enable smooth running of the trading function. These areas include fund management teams, RQA, compliance and back office functions. John started at Vice President Level and has risen to become a Senior Trader in the equity area of a busy trading team.This involves finding liquidity across Pan European Equity Markets, for the biggest trading desk in London and the UK, trading in excess of $18bn per annum in Equities and $50bn notional in derivative products.John is the forerunner on the use of technology that helps to reduce potential errors from a regulatory and monetary viewpoint. John implemented various trading tools such as; Rfq-HubMultiple Brokers Algorithmic Equity Trading platforms Bloomberg EMSX
