ABOUT JOHN LEONARD
I cut my teeth driving HGV\'s, carrying out mulit drop work around the country for many years,i was expected to load, plan & deliver everything myself. I progressed to working in the recycling industry for over six years, driving ro-ro hookloaders with drawbar trailers and gained a lot of experience & knowledge. i left there & set myself up as a self employed HGV driver working for various agencies & for sheard packaging. I delivered everything from hazardous goods through to packaging. I must have been doing something right as I was asked to come to work for Sheard packaging & I haven\'t looked back since. we are an own account operator with a medium size,consisting of nine articulated tractor units and 30 curtainside trailers. there are many challenges within our fleet due to the varied operations we run & I enjoy problem solving & working with others to find solutions to them. I can work alone or in a team, problem solving & working on ideas. still enjoy getting out on the road now & again, keeping my hand in.
