John L. joined Ethicon as a Mechanical Engineer Intern in 2001 on the Cincinnati, Ethicon Campus responsible for the Endo-Mechanical and Energy Franchises. John transitioned to the External Operations Franchise as a supplier and packaging Engineer Intern in 2003. John was promoted to a Facilitation Resident in Commercial Education in 2005 in Cincinnati, OH. He facilitated numerous sales training courses - both domestic and global - in various countries. In this role, John collaborated with several functions of the business – to include Commercial Operations, Marketing and Professional Education.In 2006, John took on the responsibility of the Full Line Sales Product Portfolio for Ethicon in the Southern Coast Area when he was promoted to a Full Line Account Representative for Ethicon Endo-Surgery in the Jacksonville FL market and then promoted in 2010 to a Territory Account Leader in the Jacksonville and Daytona markets. Completing FST School in 2010, John has developed and trained 15 Sales Representatives for the Ethicon Field Sales Organization. John was always extremely passionate about developing his Field Sales Trainees and positively progressing their careers. In 2015 John completed the Field Sales Leadership and Development Program (FSLDP). Through collaboration, integration of business analytics and maximizing the utilization of professional education - John has been the recipient of multiple Quota Achievement Awards, MD Elite Sales Excellent Awards and the coveted Peer Leadership Awards.
