   I created my own consulting company to transform how trainers, teachers, and learners approach education, specifically concerning English-language learners. TESOL Trainers works with all levels of domestic and international educational institutions from elementary schools to universities. My company offers a wide range of workshops, including Best Practices for Educators, TESOL, SIOP, working with ELLs, Academic Language Acquisition, and Scaffolding. I’ve also developed a peer coaching program that guides teachers as they implement and adapt the strategies in their daily teaching practices. I recently patented an invention that encourages students and teachers to stay engaged in the learning process. Participants consistently comment on how inspiring the interactive workshops are and how beneficial practical strategies are in the learning process. TESOL Trainers has continued to expand by identifying needs in the educational space and adding new services to address these deficiencies. I am very proud that our professional development is not only educational but also innovative, engaging, and experiential. One of my most exciting accomplishments is the creation of a partnership between the University of New Mexico and high school graduates from Brainworks/Total, the largest private school in Myanmar.
