   As the Director of Software Engineering, it is my responsibility to lead and mentor the teams who developed and are improving the software and firmware that is the foundation for all new Tektronix products. Key Responsibilities/Accomplishments Include: • Transitioning the development teams from a function based ad hoc development process to a scrum teams and guilds agile development model. • Work closely with the product line teams to help shape vision and plan and prioritize NPI roadmaps. • Drove a transition to utilizing agile principles to forecast project completion dates versus choosing a date based on desire or gut feel. • Quickly identified challenges with the company’s dev ops process and practices. Built the team for success and vision and led the team in a transition to an AWS based continuous integration pipeline. • Focus on engagement and morale within the engineering team. Led the team through several challenging transitions including remodels, reorganizations, leadership changes, VSPs, WFR, and COVID-19. • Was a key team member in defining Tektronix’s business strategy for the future.
