Award-winning Senior Communications Specialist at Piedmont Columbus Regional since December 2017; local TV news transplant into the Communications/Public Relations industry. Additionally in my role, I am the First Friday Hero program coordinator, Promise 360 committee member, American Red Cross blood drive liaison, United Way employee giving committee member, and Employee Appreciation Week/FUN committee member. Outside of work, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Partners in Education (PIE) program through the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Muscogee County School District, United Way Emerging Leaders United steering committee member, and enjoy getting fit at the Y-M-C-A. I\'m also an advocate for blood/platelet donations as well as stroke education. I\'ve been interested in weather/meteorology since a very young age and enjoy tracking severe weather.Experienced Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, and Marketing young professional with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry. In my past life at WTVM-TV in Columbus, my positions included: Production Assistant, Assignment Editor, and Digital Content Producer.
