John chairs the firm\'s business development committee, and as a partner of Conrad Siegel Actuaries he serves on the Board of Directors.John consults with organizations of all sizes on the design and implementation of their retirement plans. He works with private sector employers, publicly-traded companies and school districts. He specializes in 401(k) and pension plans, cash balance plans for professional groups, and post-retirement medical benefits. John helps his clients achieve two core objectives for their employee benefit package- Attracting and retaining the best talent- Educating and preparing those employees so they are one day able to retire from the company.He has prepared various retirement projection studies for clients to identify needs on both a plan-wide and individual employee basis. He also helps clients transition from pension plans to 401(k) plans. John works closely with the client\'s financial team to identify and manage the costs associated with their employee benefit programs. He also works closely with the human resources team to effectively deliver those benefits.John also specializes in consulting with growth-oriented companies. As growing companies acquire new entities, the process of integrating the retirement benefits of two separate cultures is complex. He guides the client through all the compliance-related issues, and develops effective employee communication strategies.
