I am currently an application engineer with Yorktel, a global provider of managed services, integrated audiovisual and information technology systems. My roles in the design engineering department include technical support and leadership for a myriad of efforts, including CAD and drafting, documentation, and support of audiovisual, video-conference, digital media and related network systems. I am responsible for all technical aspects of an assigned project, including but not limited to the technical, physical, ergonomic, acoustics as well as the structural safety of a system. In 1995 my professional career started as a quality assurance engineer for Media 100, a video editing software/hardware manufacturer. In 2003 I moved into design and installation of courtroom audio systems, and finally in 2005 I started at Univisions/Crimson as an installation manager. Univisions/Crimson was later acquired by Yorktel and in 2009 I moved into the commissioning department. There I worked predominantly in field testing and troubleshooting complicated A/V systems in high pressure/time sensitive installations. I am proficient in working closely with clients to meet or exceed their expectations. I am CTS-D and PCVE certified and consistently adding to my skill set attending classes and gaining certifications including Extron, Crestron, Biamp, Polycom, Clearone, Shure and others. I have also completed two Crestron programming courses.
