Certification Manager for Combat Mission Systems in a multidisciplinary, integrated product team responsible for long-term planning for certification events and milestones. Continually strives to solidify the IWS 8.0, PMS 501/505 and industry test and certification team\'s integration and support of the overall plan to achieve certifications on time. Coordinates with Government personnel at a multitude of Warfare Centers to ensure certification plans are on track for timely completion while cultivating many professional relationships with key customers in this very high tempo environment. Proven expertise and positive improvements to the certification program resulted in responsibilities being expanded to being selected to oversee 34 shipboard certifications. As the Certification Subject Matter Expert, called upon to provide answers and documentation supporting Government Accounting Office (GAO) queries and requests for information on numerous phases of the acquisition process completions. Key team member for discussions on evolving changes and upgrades to various Combat Systems equipment and full-scale replacement of obsolete systems to meet new requirements issued by FAA and other government organizations.
