John J-H Kim is the founder and CEO of District Management Group (DMGroup), which partners with school districts to effect transformational, sustainable improvements in student outcomes and school performance.In addition, John is a Senior Lecturer on the faculty of the Harvard Business School. He also serves as the Co-Chair of the Public Education Leadership Project (PELP), a joint initiative between the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Harvard Business School that works to strengthen leadership competencies of the largest U.S. urban school districts.Prior to starting DMGroup, John was the CEO of a school management company with more than students, the President and CEO of Rakuten USA, and a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, Inc.
