About John Hsu

Opioids are triple locked in hospitals yet these same opioids are sent to patients homes only to be left of the kitchen counter. Not very secure. Opioid use disorder doesn\'t start in the hospital, it starts at home.iPill ensures only the person prescribed has access to pills at only the prescribed dose and time to reduce opioid misuse, abuse, and diversion The iPill Solution securely stores opioids, actively controls dispensing, and destroys unused pills upon tampering and prescription end. For OUD clinics, iPill can reduce the nonemergency medical transport cost per patient per year, monitor medication adherence to reduce cravings to address relapse potential, increase revenues with remote patient monitoring (RPM)and remote therapeutic (RTM) codes and increase value based contracts. IPill can securely get this medication to more people to reduce relapse. Suboxone reduces opioid overdose deaths by 50% but only 1/3 of OUD clinics prescribe it.
