Physical Security Specialist expert with 26+ years of experience and current with TS/SCI/CI Poly. Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO). The CSSO is responsible for managing the security operations of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). This role includes overseeing all security aspects of classified programs to ensure full compliance with applicable intelligence community directives and Department of Defense regulations.Key Responsibilities:Develops, implements, and maintains security plans and procedures for SCIF operations.Conducts regular security reviews, audits, and inspections to assess compliance and identify vulnerabilities.Investigates security violations and incidents, prepares reports, and implements corrective actions.Coordinates with government security officials, contractors, and program managers to maintain secure environments for sensitive activities.Ensures all personnel receive required security briefings, training, and indoctrinations.Supports accreditation and re-accreditation processes for SCIFs in accordance with ICD 705 and related standards.
