Working with Ozaukee Economic Development, Local area Businesses, the school districts of, Cedarburg, Grafton,Northern Ozaukee, Mequon/Thiensville, Port Washington/Saukville, Random Lake, and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development I coordinate the Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship program for the Ozaukee County area in Wisconsin. Duties include but are not limited to: Recruit local businesses to hire Youth Apprentice students, Provide employer/student -interview/soft skill/mentor training, Provide employment and life guidance for parents and students, Visit and maintain commitment with participating high schools, technical colleges, and local businesses, Arrange for Related Technical Instruction, Student recognition ceremonies and facilitate Ozaukee Youth Apprenticeship Board meetings.
