Group Part VII transition 2025 John joined the Part VII transition programme setting up the transition and readiness project across Asset management, Finance and Actuarial Operations Cosec and customer functions. Investment Operations Custody and Fund Accounting transition, 20••••25This strategic programme across several phases will transition the operating model form an in-house OD with Legacy architecture to an outsourced model based on a strategic global architecture and operating model. John completed the transition of the Wealth Management element encompassing Operating Model, Technology, People and Premises changes realising significant benefits aligned with the business case. The end state OD enabled the group strategic direction for Investment Operations, Finance Operations and oversight functions. Funds Rationalisation 20••••23John setup and delivered a series of projects that rationalized funds and underlying investment vehicles across the three heritage structures within the Phoenix group, consolidating onto the strategic model and fund universe. This realized significant benefits around better outcomes for investors and financial through efficiency and consolidation. Project components included the Policyholder product team, Investment Operations and Finance Operations, engaging multiple OSPs and successfully implementing fund transitions and operating model changes over multiple tranches.He created a portfolio delivery structure which at times encompassed a team of 3 PM’s and 6 BA’s delivery up to 5 projects in parallel.
