Chief Executive Officer of 299-bed Memorial Medical Center (MMC), composed of freestanding facilities including the HealthPlex ambulatory surgery center, diagnostic imaging center, wound care center and clinical offices for physicians. MMC incorporates a freestanding syndicated endoscopy center,17 physician clinics, a diagnostic imaging center, a primary care residency and the largest cancer treatment program in the region. MMC is Southern New Mexico\'s largest and most diversified medical center, and has rapidly expanded services to become the major regional referral center for southern New Mexico.During his seven plus year tenure as CEO of MMC, the hospital has become one of the most highly decorated hospitals in LifePoint Health having earned twice LifePoint\' s coveted,\"High Five Guiding Principles Award\" for the Western Region and the overall Award out of 89 hospitals in 2020 for exceptional work in physician relations, employee relations, community engagement, results in quality and financial performance. Additionally, Mr. Harris was the awarded the CEO of the Year award for political advocacy and the Huff Award for outstanding performance in political contributions.Mr. Harris is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Hospital Association (NMHA), and a member NMHA\'s Finance Committee and Executive Committee, and former Chairman of the Quality Committee and now current member. He is the current Chairman-Elect of the Board of Directors for the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in Las Cruces, and a member of its Executive and Finance Committees. He is a member of two economic development Boards of Directors in the region including the BorderPlex Economic Development and, Mesilla Valley Economic Development, as well as the Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce.

A high energy, innovative, and bottom line oriented business leader who has served as the CEO of eight acute medical/surgical hospitals, and has seven years of overall multi-hospital leadership experience. A leader who establishes and communicates a vision, business strategy, creates management and physician consensus and executes with urgency. Most recently served as Universal Health Services, Group Vice President for five hospitals in the highly competitive Southern California market. Prior to that, served for six years as the Market President /CEO for Tenet\'s largest and most profitable single market. Prior to that, orchestrated the financial turn-around of two severely financially distressed non-profit hospitals, and directed the construction of and managed both \"Greenfield\" Hospital and \"Replacement\" Hospital projects. A very strong history of involvement in community based activities ranging from economic development, community service groups, charities, the FBI, the military, Medical School Board, Chambers of Commerce and much more. An award winning hospital CEO and healthcare consultant who has served on behalf of four of the Nation\'s largest for-profit hospital management companies: HCA, Tenet, HMP, LifePoint Health and UHS, as well as, two non-profit entities.
