About John Hannon
My passion for occupational health and safety all started when I was in the trades. I wanted to make sure everyone I worked with went home the same way they came to work. I decided to transition that passion into a full-time career with John Deere in 2016.Since that time, I have obtained my degree in Health, Safety and Environmental Technology, I became a Laser Safety Officer, a certified Lockout/Tag Out trainer, a Certified Forklift trainer and a subject matter expert in the use of the Safety Management Software, Cority.I aspire to continue my education in EHS by obtaining my ASP, followed by CSP. I intend to sit for this certification in early 2020.Career wise, I just wish to continue growing as a safety professional. Whether that is as a safety manager, consultant or EHS software implementation specialist, I want to continue making sure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.
