About John Halterman
I am currently the engineering technical steward for Caterpillar\'s surface rock drills division. I have product engineering and manufacturing operations and engineering supervision experience, with a strength in engineering management, machine level engineering, and structures engineering. I have 25 years of engineering experience in the area of hydraulic excavators and surface rock drills. Also, I have over hours in airplanes and am an Airline Transport Pilot, certificated flight instructor (1500 hours dual given), ground instructor, private pilot in hot air balloons, and a repairman for light sport aircraft including airplanes, weight-shift, gliders, and powered parachutes.
