   Develop and continually update Verisk’s government affairs strategy- Establish key goals and metrics to assess the effectuation of Verisk’s government affairs strategy with a focus on advancing Verisk\'s data analytic interests on issues related to data use, data privacy, FCRA, AI, antitrust/fair competition/m&a, and corporate sustainability regulations and laws- Identify emerging federal, state, and international regulatory/legislative issues and matters in their preliminary stages-Facilitate strategic collaboration and actionable information distribution Verisk’s legal, communications, and business units to develop strategy- Establish communications structure, including meetings and sharing of written information, with Verisk’s legal department, external communications, and business units to ensure appropriate understanding of changing business profile and potential areas of exposure- Partner with senior executives to define, implement, and communicate strategic direction and initiatives that promote business/operational policy objectives; streamlining processes to create efficiencies- Engage with divisions to develop coordinated policy solutions to issues affecting Verisk- Collaborate with Verisk staff and management to identify needs, initiate, develop, and execute plans to achieve strategic policy engagement- Work with relevant stakeholders to determine the need for and inform the content of policymaker-focused communications- Act as the first point of contact for Verisk by cultivating strategic relationships with regulatory agencies, key policymakers, trade associations, government affairs peers, and other interested parties- Lead/support negotiations of key legislative and regulatory changes related to Verisk’s policy priorities- Represent Verisk at various industry and regulatory forums- Work with business development and business unit leads to implement a unified Verisk strategy for the pursuit of federal government contracts.
