ABOUT JOHN GYNNIP

I am a Director of Corporate Programs at Majors Management with a background in fuel pricing, analytics, and strategic program leadership. I recently completed my MBA from the University of Georgia – Terry College of Business and hold a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of South Florida – Muma College of Business.In my current role, I lead a diverse portfolio of corporate initiatives including divestitures, procurement and RFP strategy, fleet and trucker fuel programs, car wash operations, and strategic partnerships. I work cross-functionally with executive leadership, legal, IT, operations, and finance to drive growth, improve efficiency, and execute high-impact projects across the organization.Prior to this role, I spent several years in fuel pricing leadership positions at Majors Management and Circle K, where I was responsible for pricing strategy across large multi-site networks. My experience includes optimizing pricing performance, analyzing competitive markets, integrating acquisitions, and building data-driven tools to support decision-making and profitability.I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where I served as a Squad Leader responsible for training, planning, and leading Marines. That experience continues to shape my leadership style, with a strong emphasis on accountability, execution, and team development.My technical background includes advanced experience in Excel (including VBA), Power BI, and Kalibrate, with working knowledge of SQL and data modeling. I also have a foundation in financial modeling, including valuation, M&A, and LBO analysis.I am focused on driving strategic initiatives that create long-term value, strengthen partnerships, and position the organization for continued growth.
