ABOUT JOHN GRAINGER
Britain\'s Energy Coast Business Cluster is a private sector led organisation with in excess of 300 members ranging from small to medium enterprises to global companies with business interests in Cumbria. Benefits to member organisations include networking promotion, knowledge sharing, involvement in specialist sector groups and relationship development with key stakeholders in the supply chain of the West Cumbria economy and beyond. As Stakeholder Relations Director I promote and represent the capability and capacity of the member companies at a range of relevant exhibitions, conferences and symposia where the profile and brand of the Business Cluster can be presented and enhanced in accordance with the wishes of the Board and Management Committee as well as the general membership. In addition I will continue on behalf of the Cluster to engage at all levels of Government and policy making to ensure that its voice is heard. Furthermore I will be adding value in respect of the current advocacy on behalf of the membership at all tiers of the nuclear sector as well as exploring business and collaboration opportunities both outside of this sector to a wider geographical market. There are also a number of member companies not in the energy sector that are looking for opportunity and representation in a diverse range of manufacturing and service sectors within the economy.
