In this volunteer capacity, my goal is make a positive impact with every patient, family member, and staff I interact with. Recognizing that a hospital visit is stressful at any time, my goal is to ease anxiety (as best as possible) through open communication and care. As questions arise, my role is to answer those questions and/or leverage my entire hospital team to answer those questions. Being a good listener really helps in times like these.
