I am bilingual in Spanish/English and currently living in Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to coming to Jacksonville, I spent nearly 3 years in Costa Rica where I obtained an MBA from INCAE Business School with a double major in Economics/Finance and Sustainable Development. Currently at Southeastern Grocers as part of the FP & A region team. Formerly, Chief Business Officer at Acceso, leading finance teams in El Salvador, Colombia, and Haiti. Acceso is a social enterprise, agricultural business that links smallholder farmers to bigger marketsPrior to Acceso, I was the Director of Region Finance in the Financial Planning and Analysis department at Southeastern Grocers (SEG). I oversaw a team of 4 Senior Region Finance Managers and together we supported the store level budget process, analytical projects, and store operations. In previous manager and analyst roles here at SEG I supported the Marketing and Operations departments. Prior to my 8+ years here at SEG I was the Analysis Manager for InMotion Entertainment, a leading airport retailer of consumer electronics and accessories in airports all over the US. I was responsible for analyzing data regarding the operations and sales trends of the company, and giving insight into those operations that can be improved or optimized. I also forecasted inventory needs, analyzed product mix and profit margins, provided financial analysis on large purchases, and tracked inventory levels and outstanding purchase orders.
