ABOUT JOHN FUSCOE
My practice is concentrated in intellectual property, strategic partnerships, venture capital transactions, and the representation of technology-based and early-stage businesses. My primary clients include software and Internet-related companies and companies that commercialize health and beauty products. I counsel clients in all aspects of creating, protecting, maintaining, licensing and monetizing intellectual property. I am a former leader of the firm Licensing & Technology Transactions Practice Group. Since 2016, I have been a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke University School of Law where I teach Intellectual Property Transactions. I have also been a guest lecturer at the Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment for Entrepreneurial Experience and Entrepreneurial Execution classes and at the Duke University Fuqua School of Business for Entrepreneurial Execution and Planning. After working for two years as a management consultant, I was employed by IBM for ten years in marketing and management positions.
