Build out and execute a data strategy with governance to ensure data consumers work within a well-defined and understood framework. • Consult with the business to identify challenges and problems that can be solved through analytics. • Develop business cases for new offerings and services.• Identify and build relationships with sponsors and key stakeholders across business functions to develop, enhance and promote the firm’s data and analytical capabilities.• Facilitate workshops with clients and key stakeholders to obtain buy-in for new proposals.• Promote visualisation and data curation best practices.• Capture both functional and non-functional requirements from the business and translate them into user stories.• Define business logic to drive key performance indicators.• Maintain and track backlog of requests, enhancements, and defects. Prioritising enhancements based on criticality and/or ROI.• Implement and manage production support controls for new services post go-live. • Maintain a deep understanding of the finance data, technical infrastructure and new technologies that could be leveraged. • Develop and maintain documentation, definitions, and data library.• Work with the change management team to develop and execute user adoption strategies and create end-user training material.• Mentor colleagues on best practices.
