ABOUT JOHN FITZPATRICK

John has over 20 years of experience designing and developing interactive media like web sites, apps, DVDs, motion graphics, banner ads and email marketing campaigns. He has worked in a variety of industries from entertainment to advertising. He is currently developing websites and apps using the latest technology for a private bank in New York City.John has a Bachelor of Science degree from one of the best Industrial Design schools in the world. The University of Cincinnati is ranked by Business Insider, Business Week and DesignIntelligence as one of the best design schools in the world. John has designed mobile phones for Ericsson GE, refrigerators for Frigidaire as well as emergency medical devices for the Long Beach Medical Group. At one point in time, John could walk into a Best Buy and see a cell phone, refrigerators and dozens of DVDs that he had worked on with a team of really smart and great people. John has been a featured designer at Shapeways and currently part of the Shapeways Crew, a group of dedicated Shapeways community members who are creative leaders and visionaries that form their inner circle. His innovative, imaginative work exemplifies what they stand for as a company and community and is already building the Shapeways community of the future in person and online.An interesting fact, he played lacrosse for 20 years every Spring.
