EXPERTISE: • Industrial, Land, and Investment properties with a focus on renewable energy projects • John Filli joined NAI Horizon in June 1992. EDUCATION: • Florida Southern -1961 to 1964 (USAF On-Base Education Program) • Arizona State University - 1964 to 1966 ( USAF Airman\'s Education and Commissioning Program) • University of Nebraska, Omaha NE - 1967 - USAF Bootstrap Program), earned Bachelor of Science,General Studies with Major in Engineering and Minor in Math • Arizona State University - 1970 to 1975 - After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the USAF, re-admited to ASU under the USAF \"Early Out Program\" to complete additional course work in Mechanical Engineering REAL ESTATE RELATED PROFESSIONAL AFFILITATIONS & DESIGNATIONS: In October of John received the highly coveted SIOR Designation as a Realtor specializing in Industrial real estate. Locally: John served as Chairman of the Membership and Retention Committee with the Southwest Chapter of SIOR in 2003 and 2004 In 2004 and 2005, John served as Secretary/Treasurer with the same organization. In 2006 and 2007 John served as Vice President of the Southwest Chapter of SIOR. Internationally: John, who served as Chair of the SIOR Benefits and Services Committee from September 2009 through September 2011, continues to serve on the Editorial Advisory Board of SIOR\'s Professional Report Magazine and on the SIOR Membership Recruitment Committee as a \"Member at Large\". From June 2011 through January of 2012, John served as Co-Chair of the BOMA Industrial Floor Measurement Task Group whose mission was to update the Industrial Buildings Standard Methods of Measurement (ANSI/BOMA Z65•••09). In 2003, John served as Vice Chair of the NAI Global Industrial Council, while In 2004 and 2005, John served as Chair of the same group. John is also active in other real-estate related groups such as NAIOP, CCIM, E.C.O.N, SAARS, and Valley Partnership. Specialties: Industrial Real Estate with expertise in clean rooms, process piping, various types of manufacturing processes, industrial ventilation, testing and balancing of HVAC systems, renewable energy systems, mine ventilation, vibration analysis, energy reclaimation, and solar heating and cooling.
