About John Farrell

I am very pleased to be named as Retail District Director of Goodwill Keystone Area and to have a chance to return to my roots in the community outreach and services sector. I look forward to working to support persons with disabilities and other barriers to independence in achieving their fullest potential as workers and as members of the broader community. Goodwill helps persons with disabilities as well as people who are at an economic disadvantage, or may lack education or work experience. Additionally, we provide job skill training to youth and seniors. We assist individuals in overcoming employment barriers, including welfare dependency, illiteracy and disabilities, and introduce them to the power of earning a paycheck. Goodwill Keystone Area collects and sells donated items in more than 45 locations in 23 central and southeastern Pennsylvania counties so I get a chance to work out my retail chops and to provide training opportunities in support of the mission. Goodwill trainees often start their careers in our stores, distribution centers and donation centers. As another means of supporting our mission, Goodwill provides business services such as custodial services, document shredding and laser cartridge remanufacturing to businesses and governmental agencies. I hope that you will consider Goodwill should your business have need of these services or have employment opportunities for the people we train. Please don\'t hesitate to reach out to me to find out more about Goodwill.
