One of Ohio’s most determined supporters of economic development, healthcare, education, and the fine arts. Chairman, president and chief executive officer of Western & Southern Financial Group, a Cincinnati-based diversified family of financial services companies with assets owned and managed of more than $67 billion. John is also a board member of Cintas, another iconic Cincinnati company, as well as many civic organizations. He was inducted into the Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Business Hall of Fame in 2009 and was honored to give the commencement address in Spring 2011 at the University of Cincinnati.His entrepreneurial vision and spirit inspired the Entrepreneurs’ Organization of Cincinnati to create the annual John F. Barrett Entrepreneur Vision Award to recognize entrepreneurial excellence in Cincinnati. He has also topped the Cincy magazine Power 100 ranking multiple times.
