Latest info - 21/07/2025:Being between jobs currently enables me to delve into several areas I\'ve been meaning to get to but work commitments always seemed to get in the way. One of these areas is an update and refresher on BIM and UK Government initiatives.Browsing through some of my favourite web sites on this topic I came across the newish initiative in that the UK BIM Framework has migrated to the Information Management Initiative (IMI) framework and is now pushing a raft of new initiatives to reinvigorate BIM following a fall off in interest. To quote the IMI Framework:\"The IMI Framework sets out the approach for implementing information management in the UK, using the framework for managing information provided by the ISO 19650 series. It includes- the published standards called upon to implement information management in the UK- the IMI Guidance Framework- useful links to other resources\"Interested? then look up the web site: https://imiframework.org/I have removed all my documents and replaced my BIM presentation with a new BIM4All Catalogue. It\'s a heavy read, but it\'s designed to help you through the key areas where BIM has impacts on construction projects. It is focused on the UK and the Autodesk software portfolio as that\'s where I have been for most of my career.
