ABOUT JOHN ESTEY

As an estimator with well over a decades worth of experience in the residential new home construction and renovation industry, I have a proven track record of delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates and pricing for various projects, using my knowledge, skills, and relationships in the industry. I have worked for three different companies in Calgary where I have contributed to the growth and innovation of their product offerings and processes.I have a degree in Advanced Housing Construction from Algonquin College and I have also developed carpentry and renovation skills from working in the renovation and construction industry. I have multiple publications in Renovation Contractor Magazine and I have proven track record of integrity, honesty and trustworthiness as demonstrated by my previous approvals for top secret security clearances from the Canadian and British governments. I am highly skilled in negotiation, budgeting, construction methodology, renovation, process development, On-Screen Take-Off and Constellation Newstar Enterprise. I am a strong and professional estimator who can work with different departments and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency of the estimation process. I am looking for a new opportunity where I can leverage my expertise and competencies to add value to a residential construction or renovation company.
