In 2021 co-founded Applied Ecological Institute, a non profit venture design studio; EcoExchange, a VC fund; Climate Foods Inc; and StratifyX Inc.I invest in and serve on the boards of purpose based companies. I was the past Chairman of the Board of Whole Foods Market until it was sold to Amazon in 2017. I was an Entrepreneurship Professor at Tulane University for 30 years and am now the Emeritus Director of the Entrepreneurship Center at Tulane. I serve on the board of several purpose based multi generational family owned businesses.
