John has more than 30 years experience serving both large, publicly-held companies and private companies in all areas of the oil and gas business. John has also served/is serving several private equity-backed and established E&P companies, contract drillers, salt water disposal and other oil field service companies, and coal mining operators. • Has substantial experience with debt and equity offerings, technical accounting, commodity risk management practices and hedge accounting, and helping clients comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, including internal control reporting under Section 404. • Assists clients with initial public offerings, carve-out and acquisition audits, subsidiary audits, and cross-border transactions, and master limited partnership drops. • Worked for two years in EY\'s National office in Cleveland. • Past State Chairman and Past State Treasurer for Junior Achievement of Oklahoma, Inc. • Advisory Board member of the Oklahoma State University Spears School of Business (The Associates). • Advisory Board member of the Oklahoma State University School of Accounting. • Leadership Tulsa Class 45.
