ABOUT JOHN E. STOGRAN
Skilled in Banking, Finance, Energy, and Economic Development. In the natural gas industry worked in Treasury, Engineering, Financial Planning, Strategic Planning and Budgeting, G&P Business Development, Operation Support and Land Administration. Entire career in Banking was in Commercial Lending. During that time obtained degrees in Accounting and Banking. In addition completed courses to receive certification from the American Institute of Banking which is the educational arm of the American Bankers Association. Also adjunct instructor in Banking and Finance at Fairmont State University and Salem College. I serve as President of the Bridgeport (WV) Economic Development Authority. USA Today recently named Bridgeport WV the 16th best city to live in the US. I work with local, county, state and federal economic development agencies to promote economic development in North Central West Virginia. I am a strong community leader and professional with training in Law, Investigations, White Collar Crime, Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence and Profiling as a graduate of the FBI’s Citizens’ Academy and member of their alumni association. I have a Six Sigma Blue Belt in Process Improvement.
