ABOUT JOHN DOMM
I am an optical engineer with over 30 years experience working in the optics industry in optical design, research, concept creation and simply making ideas work. I enjoy investigating new ideas and concepts in optics and its applications to high level systems. I particularly like the challenge of de-risking technically risky technologies and seeing them succeed through to product development. I look at obstacles as challenges and then look for ways to push past the current limitation. To accomplish this, I have lead and supervised teams of engineers and technologists, focusing on high level goals. I’ve helped them think outside the box so that we were able to develop innovative technologies for hand off to a product development group. I am passionate about empowering others by demonstrating the core values of integrity, honesty and trust, and I’m inspired and motivated by the vision of the company.
