Currently leading a cross functional team to resolve technical issues such as heat tolerance, form, and reliability of plastic injection molded commodities across multiple disciplines. Working with overseas suppliers to develop sourcing solutions and continually optimize part quality, cost, and delivery of both injection molding tools and plastic parts. Supplier development work inclusive of machine selection, resin handling solutions and equipment, capital equipment purchase, in-process material handling and inspection, as well as developing robust quality systems in line with the requirements of HP\'s goals and quality metrics. Evaluation of part and tool design from an injection molding DFM standpoint while collaborating with HP R&D and Processing Engineers to develop solutions and designs through analysis of mechanical systems, empirical testing, and the evaluation of material reliability with documentation of defect management, cost/benefit analysis and performance.
