Career in Logistics and Transportation started with a high school job at Bartlett’s Warehouse unloading Boston & Maine Railroad cars.Joined the US Navy (Seabees) at seventeen, served with Naval Mobile Construction Battalions 4, 7, 16, and 133, earning three Navy Achievement Medals, the Seabee Warfare Pin, and a Navy Commendation Medal for service in El Salvador, while in a Hostile Fire pay status.After retiring from the US Navy, attended the University of Massachusetts on the Lowell Campus, earning bachelor\'s in history and political science and master\'s in regional economics. Master’s research was on the “Critical Shortage of Commercial Truck Drivers\". As an undergraduate, was a member of the Fireman and Oiler\'s Union, while working as a school custodian to supplement the GI Bill.Hired by Watkins Motor Lines after graduating, ran the Outbound Transportation Dock for three years. Transferred to Sales, stayed on when the company was purchased by FedEx. Currently a FedEx Sales Professional, working in Strategic accounts, responsible for nine e-commerce accounts, spending $5 million+ a month on logistics.Served after college on the City of Lawrence Redevelopment Authority for a three-year term. Served a one-year term on Eagle Tribune\'s Editorial Board. Served a one-year term as an elected member of Dracut Republican Committee. Served a one-year term as an elected member of my HOA\'s Board of Directors.In 2016, was awarded the FedEx Five Star Service Award, one of the highest honors a FedEx employee can receive. In both 2023 and 2024, earned FedEx Ambassador\'s Club Award for Sales Revenue. Other awards; St George Medal from the Archdiocese of Boston, Silver Beaver Medal from Scouting, Veteran\'s Service Award from Valley Patriot, Honorable John Fenton Community Service Award from the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
