ABOUT JOHN COOKE
Chartered Civil Engineer with 13 years experience in engineering consultancy (bridges and structures) and an appetite for coding, automation and digital transformation. Why? I was taught that “if you cannot code an engineering theory, then you do not understand it fully”. Understanding why structures don’t fall down is essential. The decision to write computer code, to leverage the vast computing power at our fingertips, to assist and accelerate the human-led design process is therefore an easy one. Design in a day, without compromising engineering rigour.
