Responsibilities include electro-mechanical design of parts and assemblies for use in outdoor power products using Catia V5 and setting up BOM structures using WindChill PLM system. Duties also include hands on building of prototypes, testing and validating designs, investigating design issues and failures and responding with corrective actions. Manufacturing processes used include injection molding, die casting, stamping and sheet metal. Further responsibilities include first article inspection of parts; execute tolerance stack-ups and selection of vendor parts to complete designs.
