Lead the design, development, and implementation of data center strategies on the NIPR and SIPR network to meet DAF mission requirement. Manage the entire infrastructure lifecycle, from request to deployment while tracking all relevant SLA/SLRs and provide reports as required.• Collaborate with business units and IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance data center capabilities and efficiency• Create detailed technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation for data center projects• Ensure data center designs meet security, compliance, and performance requirements• Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of complex data center projects• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members• Work directly with customer Data Center POC’s to ensure all documentation is submitted following DAF policy and Procedures.• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and best practices• Create cable plant, rack elevations, power and HVAC documentation• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data center design and management Collaborate with DAF enterprise and program security teams to ensure requirements are met within allotted timeframes.• Communicate effectively and collaboratively with customers and stakeholders
