I am a partner of Howells and a specialist family law Solicitor in the matrimonial team in Sheffield. I can help with the legal difficulties arising from the breakdown of a relationship, specialising in divorce, civil partnership and cohabitation breakdown, financial matters, pre-nuptial agreements, the arrangements for children and in protecting the victims of domestic abuse. The breakdown of a relationship is invariably one of the most difficult situations anyone can encounter in life. I have a wide range of experience in assisting privately paying and publicly funded Clients resolve the legal difficulties arising from that situation and am passionate about helping throughout that process as sensitively as possible. I am a member of a voluntary organisation called Resolution and local committee member dealing with administration of local justice issues. Resolution promotes dealing with family law matters in a constructive way and focusing upon the needs of any children involved. I attained Resolution accreditation as a specialist family law practitioner in 2014, having in particular completed rigorous assessments in complex financial matters and in protecting the victims of domestic abuse. I offer an entirely free half hour initial appointment to advise in detail upon the relevant family law issues in any person\'s particular case. I am happy to discuss matters over the telephone if preferred to meeting at our office. I am also an Associate Lecturer in the Practice of Family Law at Sheffield College assisting aspiring lawyers qualify towards membership of CILEX.
